It also has a role in the maintenance of the bone marrow cavity. Trevigen's adipogenic differentiation kit follows traditional methods of adipogenic differentiation, by growing MSC in medium supplemented with insulin, isobutyl methyl xanthine (IBMX), indomethacin and dexamethasone. The kit will induce adipogenic differentiation of Trevigen's Rat MSC grown in Qualified Medium supplemented with Qualified FBS within 14-17 days. Adipogenic differentiation is detected by staining with Oil Red O which stains lipid containing vacuoles in mesenchymal stem cells that have undergone adipogenic differentiation.
