| Specificity: |
It recognizes both the full length protein (116 kDa) as well as an 85 kDa cleavage fragment associated with apoptosis. The recognized epitope is within the C-terminal part of the DNA binding domain of PARP. The antibody cross-reacts with human, monkey, hamster, rat and mouse PARP, but does not recognize chicken PARP.
